Stephen Coull is an applied psychology practitioner who works with individual adults across a wide range of issues including: anxiety, depression/low mood, stress, anger, assertiveness, autism spectrum disorder, chronic illness, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), relationship concerns, and many more.
 

Stephen's way of working

Stephen is a compassionate therapist who works collaboratively with each client, aiming to establish a strong therapeutic relationship in which each person feels safe and empowered. He works in a person-centred way, using elements of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Behavioural Activation Therapy where appropriate. His holistic practice addresses the emotional, psychological and behavioural aspects of each client to inspire increased wellbeing. He aims to realise significant change in the lives of the people he helps.
 

Stephen's background and training

Stephen has gained valuable experience in support roles, having previously worked as a volunteer support worker in addition to working in the NHS as a trainee clinical associate. Additionally, he has significant experience in building trust, having worked as a Civil Nuclear Constabulary officer in the Highlands.

Stephen holds an MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care from Dundee and Stirling Universities.

Stephen is an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

Stephen's fee
