James' background and trainingJames has worked as a counsellor in a number of settings including in a counselling service, in a care setting, and with clients with habitual behaviours. Prior to this, James worked in a range of roles including as a primary school teacher.
James has a Higher Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy. In addition, he has a BA (hons) degree and an MA as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
James is a member of COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
